The Multi-Day Date Offset Trap: Why Origin Days Differ from Boarding Station Days
One of the most frequent reasons passengers miss long-distance trains or arrive on the wrong day is confusing Origin Departure Days with En-Route Halting Days.
Departs New Delhi at 21:05 on Day 1 (Monday). When it halts at Nagpur (08:50 AM) and Vijayawada (17:40 PM), it is Day 2 (Tuesday). Passengers boarding at Nagpur or Vijayawada must be at the station on Tuesday, not Monday!
