2. Nature of Service: Informational Passenger Planning
TrainAdda is an independent passenger research platform providing free algorithmic calculation tools, including:
- 60-Day Advance Reservation Period (ARP) window calculators.
- Distance-slab train fare and ticket price estimators.
- Train chart preparation schedule estimators.
- Station stoppage duration and timetable inspectors.
- Overnight train comfort and decision comparison engines.
TrainAdda does not issue, sell, book, cancel, or modify train tickets. We do not process payments for railway bookings. All final bookings, PNR generation, and seat allocations occur exclusively through Indian Railways (IRCTC) or authorized PRS counters.
3. Accuracy of Railway Data & Timetables
Our algorithms calculate schedules, fare breakdowns, and chart preparation windows using public tariff circulars published by the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) and public IRCTC guidelines.
While we strive for 100% accuracy, Indian Railways operations are subject to real-time adjustments, operational diversions, emergency track maintenance, seasonal timetable revisions, and dynamic Tatkal surge pricing. TrainAdda cannot guarantee that train timetables, platform numbers, or fare calculations will always reflect unscheduled operational modifications. Travelers are advised to verify final timings via NTES/IRCTC channels prior to departure.
4. Intellectual Property & Trademarks
The TrainAdda brand name, custom algorithmic engines, UI design, icons, and original guides are the exclusive intellectual property of TrainAdda.com.
"Indian Railways", "IRCTC", "NTES", "Vande Bharat Express", "Rajdhani", "Shatabdi", and related names are registered trademarks of the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, or their respective affiliated entities. Use of these marks on TrainAdda is strictly for descriptive, informational, and passenger identification purposes under fair use doctrine.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall TrainAdda, its founders, contributors, or partners be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of:
- Missed train connections, delayed arrivals, or schedule alterations by railway authorities.
- Inability to secure confirmed berths during peak 08:00 AM IRCTC booking windows.
- Unannounced fare revisions, dynamic pricing changes, or cancellation fee disputes.
